Tutor

Gabriel Stein-Bodenheimer is a skilled professional who will work to ensure that your child receives an academic support this school year. Gabriel holds both an Oregon K-12 Teaching Credential with an English Language Arts Endorsement and an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement and California Clear Single Subject Credential in English Language Arts.

After graduating from high school as valedictorian, he earned his BA in English Literature from Smith College, and pursued graduate work in education at Mills College.

Gabriel Stein-Bodenheimer has eleven years of classroom teaching experience in both private and public high schools, among them Mercy High School in San Francisco and in the Beaverton School District in Oregon. Gabriel has taught English Language Arts 9-12, English as a second language, and AP Language and Composition classes. Over the years, he also has facilitated several workshops on inclusive curriculum at the California Association of Teachers of English conferences.

Teaching is his passion and his life’s work.
